This is Rose. She is between 8 and
10 years old. She was found wandering down the middle of the road alone. Her
nails were grown into her pads, she was covered with scabs and sores, and she
was as skinny as a rail. Today, she’s happily ensconced in a foster home,
waiting to meet just the right person who will love her for the rest of her
life and treat her with all the care that she never received before. She’s a
gentle, loving, spunky dear of a soul!
These are just a few links that we

Basset Hound in their lives!
This site offers a current
state-by-state listing of Basset Rescues. If you have landed on our site
seeking a Basset, but live in another state, we encourage you to try your local
rescue first. We’ll be happy to work with you if they cannot meet your needs
and we can, but you may well find the Basset of your dreams in your own
backyard!
